Hard Rock Café, Indy | July 25, 2013 | The PRS Guitars Gear Heaven event, held the night before Grand-Am's Indy Brickyard 400, lived up to all expectations! Over 150 Grand-Am drivers, officials (J.J. O'Malley and Helen Pardee among others) and Godstone/PRS invited guests packed into the already over-flowing Hard Rock Café Indy to sample some PRS love and rock to the tunes of master bluesman, Davy Knowles.
On debut was the awesome PRS Guitars Godstone Heart Guitar, custom made by luthier Paul Reed Smith for Godstone Ranch and it's mission to spread the word about Hands-Only CPR. The crowd was treated to rock style blues from axeman and PRS artist, Davy Knowles. The band was anchored by none other than PRS prez, Jack Higginbotham on keyboards. The Guitar Center brought over a huge collection of PRS guitars, and set up a hands-on display in the back room for the crowd to sample PRS craftsmanship for themselves.
As a special treat (for us), Davy and the band invited Godstone driver, John McCutchen II and driver changer/co-founder, Karen Garrett to the Hard Rock stage for a little jam with the Davy Knowles band. John debuted the new PRS Mira Heart Guitar prototype and the band brought the house down! Thanks to Jeanne Nooney (PRS Marketing) and Jack Higginbotham for all they do for charity. Come check out the Heart Guitar wherever Godstone Ranch competes and try it for yourselves. Then, put it on your wish list and watch for details and how to own this one of twenty PRS prototype. It's sure to be a collector piece.
A special thanks to Bill Sewall of Hunt Construction Group for making this happen!
