Austin, Texas | November 18, 2012 - Since its inception, the sport of racing has captured the hearts of fans worldwide and continues to inspire emotions that reach far beyond the boundaries of the racetrack. Combining the inspiration and pride of auto racing with a passion for beauty and art, Kevin Paige is a classically trained fine artist striving to capture the speed, the colors and the majesty that is the spirit of motorsports. Founded in 2001, Kevin Paige Art brings to life each dynamic element of the motorsport experience. From custom commissions to live painting events, Kevin Paige Art has become one of the preeminent sources of original motorsport art by building passionate connections and dedicated partnerships in the professional racing community.
Kevin's show benefited Godstone Ranch and the American Heart Association's Hands-Only CPR campaign. A huge crowd mingled and partied late into the night at the very cool Palm Door in downtown Austin to the tunes of Girl Dreams. Kevin generously donated an awesome Michael Schumacher painting that went up on the auction block with 2008 Grand-Am GT Champion, Paul Edwards' race-used firesuit from the 2010 Grand-Am season when he co-drove the LRPG Corvette C6 with Scott Russell, John McCutchen II, and Davy Jones. The proceeds from the auction were donated to Godstone Ranch Motorsports and it's support of the AHA.
Pikes Peak king, Paul Dallenbach and Hot Wheels stunt man, Greg Tracy showed up along with many racers from the Texas and international race car scene.
